Patricia Real Barairo

Patricia started her marching music learning since elementary school. She is a full band scholar and finished her college degree of Business Management because of her passion for Music and Performing Arts and now uses her 25 years of experience and expertise to establish works and contribution in marching band events and activities.

Patricia is a recognized international / national event organizer, artistic director, and designer. Though she is a percussion player, her keen interest on visual design encouraged her to establish the Color Guard Alliance of the Philippines Inc. (CGAP) - the first Philippine Color Guard organization and the first Philippine Team who participated in the WGI – Asia Championships. This started her continuous involvement in the international marching music community.

Now she serves as the Secretary General of Asian Marching Band Confederation, Founding Board Member of Drum Corps Asia, and Executive Board Member of World Marching Band Organization. She’s part of the successful partnership agreement with the Winter Guard International – Sports of the Arts in Dayton Ohio, USA.

Currently, Patricia is the vice-chairman of the executive committee that spearheaded the City of Bacoor International Music Championships (BIMC) - the first international marching band competition in the Philippines and the first Winter Guard International Philippine Championships.



Direk Phopool

Mr. Direk Phopool was born on September 16, 1970. Education Background 1982-1987, Mathayom 6 from Amnuay Silpa School, 1989-1992, Bachelor of Education level, in Music Education from Chom Bueng Village Teachers College, Ratchaburi Province (Currently, Chom Bueng Village Rajabhat Institute). Work Experience 1993-1994, Melodien Instructor at Amnuay Silpa School, 1995-Now, teacher of the marching band at Sriyaphai School, Muang District, Chumphon Province.



Eakkasit Arunthanapakorn

Mr. Eakkasit Arunthanapakorn was born on August 2, 1984 in Bangkok, Thailand. He studied at Wat Nuannoradit School in 1997 and started to play percussion instruments in Nuannoradit Marching Band. He was trained by Band Directors, Mr. Sanong Fonghem, Mr. Surajit Tuntiwitayakorn, and Mr. Suradech Hongwienchun who are role models and inspiration for his training. In 2004, he studied in Music Department at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University. He chose to study about percussion instruments. He studied with the professors, Mr. Anurak Boonjae, Mr. Atichart Charoenpachok, and Mr. Nopol Sangpattanakornkit. He is also a member of the Siamyth Drum & Bugle Corps. Nowsadays, Mr. Eakkasit Arunthanapakorn is the Band Director and Instructor at Wat Nuannoradit School, Nuannoradit Marching band, Splendor Color Guard and Bambooslim Drumline. His working motto is “where there's a will, there's a way.” His outstanding award for being the Band director are as follows:

  • In 2013, The Winner in International Marching Band Competition 2013, Malaysia World Band Competition 2013 in the category of Drum Battle at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
  • In 2018, The Winner in Central Championship Marching Band Competition 2018 in the category of Drum Dual at Thephassadin Stadium, Thailand.
  • In 2019, The Winner (Gold Medal) in Music and Marching Arts International 2019 in the category of Color Guard Ensemble (Scholastic) at Indoor Stadium Huamark, Bangkok, Thailand.
  • In 2020, The Winner in Thailand World Music Championships 2020, the Royal Trophy League International Bands Competition of Thailand in the category of Marching Show Band - Student Class at V Sommai Physical Education Building, Sisaket Province, Thailand.
  • In 2021, The Winner (Gold Medal) in Thailand World Music Championships 2021, the Royal Trophy League International Bands Competition of Thailand in the category of Color Guard World Division at V Sommai Physical Education Building, Sisaket Province, Thailand.


Supattra Ngamwilai

Miss Supattra Ngamwilai, was born on 25th May 1985, Srisaket, Thailand, studied at Mariwittaya School, the elementary school in Srisaket and started joining an orchestra band since at Prathomsueksa 4. Then, she studied at the secondary school, Satrisiriket School.  She studied in the major of Thai music performance sciences at Srinakharinwirot University, Prasarnmit. After graduation, she had started her job as an assistant teacher at Bok Wittayakom School, Srisaket Provincial Administration Organization.

Then, she has moved to Phibunmangsahan School, Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Administration Organization as a teacher. She is in charge of the school's marching band in cooperation with Mr. Chaikampol Akati in order to join the International marching band competition 2012 at Ubon Ratchathani Sports School, Muang Ubon Ratchathani District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. Won the third runner-up in the Marching Show Band (Display) Open Divisions category.

Since Mr. Chaikampon Akti moved back to Kalasin Province in 2013, Ms. Supatara Ngamwilai was appointed as a teacher in charge of Phibun Mangsahan School's marching band from 2013-2012 to develop the marching band of Phibun Mangsahan School.

Marching band is an activity that greatly promotes responsibility and discipline for students. Moreover, students also spend free time on this activity beneficially. They can learn how to work with others, respect other people’s decision, be generous to friends. These are all the basis of future life learned from being a part of the marching band. Therefore, the school should promote music activities in order to improve students' abilities in all aspects.
