UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Andy Toth has been an active, passionate citizen in the marching arts community as a performer, choreographer, and judge for the past 3 decades. 2024 marks Andy’s 8th year as Visual Coordinator for Santa Clara Vanguard, his 10th year on the WGI color guard steering committee, and his 25th year on the design team for Pride of Cincinnati.
As an internationally recognized choreographer, Andy has been honored to design for numerous drum & bugle corps, marching bands, and winter guards throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. His first years as a designer/choreographer were spent with the Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps from 1998-2015, when they were awarded the Drum Corps International championship title an unprecedented 5 times (2000-2006), as well as 4 color guard caption awards. In 2017, he became the Visual Coordinator for the Santa Clara Vanguard and proudly continues in this role today. His work has also been showcased on the Bands Of America stage with such marching band titans as Carmel HS (IN), Ronald Reagan HS (TX), and Marcus HS (TX).
In 1999, Andy had the distinct honor of performing in London’s West End as an original cast member of the Emmy and Tony award-winning production of Blast!. He continued his role on Broadway in New York City until the show’s closure in 2001.
Andy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago where he resides today. His practice and education in this field has had a significant role in fostering kinesthetic exploration, discovery, and awareness in performers world wide.
A great deal of admiration and gratitude is owed to the extraordinary teams of artists that Andy has had the privilege of collaborating with over the years. He looks forward to maintaining and expanding his relationships in the pageantry community and sharing his passion for the marching arts.
