Paradox Chen (Taipei City, Taiwan)

Active Program Coordinator, Music Arranger, Drill Designer and Instructor.

His marching performing experience originated in the CKMB (Chien Kuo MB) under a senior high school, which has been the top high school marching band in Taiwan for decades.

In his 20+ years of marching music career, he has taught/guest instructed for more than 30 groups, and designed shows for not only bands but for certain crossover ccasions, such as pop music concerts, band festival openings…and so on. Since 2012, a new identity as being a judge started another chapter in his career. So far, besides as a judge in Taiwan, he also has done it in other countries such as China, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, for many times.

He’s also directing a drum corps, Taipei Yuehfu, the only American style drum corps in Taiwan. 2024 is the corps’ 28th anniversary.

After established Asian Marching Band Confederation (AMBC) with Mr. Kosin Suebprasitwong (and several member countries) in Shanghai, 2016, this year Paradox is in his third administrative incumbency as the Secretary General.
