Nobuyuki Umezawa Trumpet player , Brass teacher(belong Yamaha Popular Music School(PMS) ) , Marching technic , Drill design Nobuyuki began to play a trumpet in school band at ten years old. Alos He began marching at 16 years old. Nobuyuki was so into marching, He watched DCIʼs video everyday. He began a drill design for school band gradually. Nobuyuki hoped to play in DCI. He had an audition for Concord Blue Devils in fall ʼ1996. and passed it. He had learned about many marching things. It had never know when Nobuyuki was in Japan.

Blue Devils won DCI world championship in 1996. Nobuyuki return to Japan. He began to teach marching and trumpet But, Nobuyuki didnʼt have good trumpet skill to teach at that time. He decided to quit teaching and learned again about trumpet from Masashi Sugiyama, Hiroshi Hashimoto and Neil Stalnaker. Nobuyuki played in many rock band, pop band and world music band for support musician. He had played in large music fest(over 10000 people) In 2007 Nobuyuki had passed audition for Yamaha Popular Music School trumpet teacher.

He returned for marching teaching and drill design. Some school which Nobuyuki taought joined in All Japan Marching Competion Nobuyuki became a member of Drum Corps Japan judge committee in 2013 and became official judge in 2015. Join to AMBC board of directors from 2020 and WMBO board of directors from 2021
