Joshua Dawes is a marching band designer, choreographer and consultant based in one corner of the globe or another. He got a film degree from the University of Oklahoma, marched in Phantom Regiment, became a yoga instructor in India, studied Qi Gong in Guatemala, and once met a mountain gorilla in an Ugandan rainforest.\

His drum corps teaching experience includes time on brass or visual staff with The Academy, Phantom Regiment, Spirit of Atlanta, Boston Crusaders, Oregon Crusaders, and The Cavaliers. When he’s not teaching or designing band things you can find him roaming about ancient ruins, cultural marvels or natural wonders.
