Grantis Peranda
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Grantis Peranda is a color guard performer, instructor, and adjudicator. He is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area in California USA. He earned his B.S. in Health Policy & Management with a Minor in Dance, and later a MBA in Leading Innovative Organizations. Grantis has been working IT for a decade, while being involved in the marching arts. His passion for the arts has propelled his career within the activity.

Grantis started performing as a native american dancer. This cultural tie to movement is a huge influence on how he choreographs with musicality. Grantis also has a deep love for the theater, acting in plays from a young age. In middle school he became fascinated with color guard and continued the activity in high school, and eventually went on to perform in DCI & WGI. Ensembles he has been a part of include: Vanguard Cadets, Blue Knights, Madison Scouts, Blessed Sacrament, Onyx, Vanguard Winter Guard, and Imbue. He has also performed as a member of his collegiate dance company and in other gigs such as Latrice Royal’s Royalettes, Netflix’s The Crown Celebration, and Blue Devils Entertainment.

Grantis has taught around the USA with FJM summer clinics, as well as other camps, and has been on staff at Blue Devils B. For the past several years Grantis instructed in the California Bay Area, where his teams routinely earned top placements. He also adjudicates fall and winter seasons for NCBA, WBA, PCJA, and CCGC. Grantis shares his enthusiasm through instructional videos on his YouTube channel, has appeared on the Marching Roundtable podcasts as well as StylePlusTV. Grantis has been a part of his circuits educational and judging committees, as well as the WGI Future Leaders program. Grantis consults through Grantisimo Productions, which aims to make programs more successful. Grantis is super excited to be visiting Thailand and seeing what the country’s marching programs are like!
