Mr. Krisada Kongsawan, widely recognized by his moniker "Kru Tao," is a highly distinguished educator and a seasoned expert within Thailand's music education landscape, particularly in the specialized fields of marching bands and melodica ensembles. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Western Music from Srinakharinwirot University (Prasarnmit), one of the nation’s premier institutions for the performing arts, before further advancing his academic credentials with a Master of Education in Music Education from Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University.

With a profound passion for brass and low brass instruments, Kru Tao chose the Trombone as his primary instrument, developing a deep technical mastery that has informed his teaching for over 27 years. Throughout his career, he has remained steadfast in his commitment to imparting knowledge and experience to both Thai youth and fellow educators. His extensive professional journey is marked by his success as a head coach and conductor, leading numerous marching bands from prestigious institutions—including Boonwattana School, Kannasootsuksalai School, Assumption Convent Silom School, Muang Nakhon Ratchasima School, Pakthongchai Prachaniramit School, and Thatnaraiwittaya School—to national and international acclaim.

In addition to his instructional prowess, Kru Tao possesses specialized expertise in musical arrangement and drill design for Marching Field Shows and Street Parades. His creative vision has been instrumental in elevating the performance standards of many melodica bands. Consequently, his reputation has led him to serve as a keynote speaker and clinician for the Marching Band Association of Thailand, where he provides essential training in performance techniques, ensemble management, and the modern development of marching arts.

Currently, Kru Tao serves as the Second Vice President of the Marching Band Association of Thailand. This prestigious appointment stands as a testament to his dedication and vision for the sustainable growth of the Thai marching band community. He remains a pillar of the music education industry, respected for his tireless efforts to enhance the potential of Thai youth through the medium of music.
