Prachamongkol Marching Band proudly presents for Thailand World Music Championships 2021 program, titled “The Death Railway Kanchanaburi, Thailand” which describes about the History of Kanchanaburi, Thailand.
"Pak-Phraek" is an incredible ancient water town. Undoubtedly, the people spend their lives on the banks of the river as same as their residences. "Sai Yok" It could be called Thailand's Niagara. Indeed, Sai Yok Waterfall has an aesthetic scenario. Hence it is so famous and mostly foreigners would love to visit this waterfall as well. "Kwai bridge-building" is one of the important historical landmarks and memorials in Thailand. The history of the bridge is well known, as it was part of the railway lines in World War II and its share of conflict and bloodshed. Furthermore, there were many dead labourers during the time while the railway was built especially in some parts built next to the mountains, so it was called “The Death Railway”. "Kanchanaburi War Cemetery (Don Rak)" is another important World War II-related place as it is where remains of the prisoners of war who had died while building the railway were buried.
Nowadays, Kanchanaburi, Thailand is known as a charming city that you must visit because there have many wonderful places and this is "Around The Death Railway Kanchanaburi, Thailand".
Prachamongkol Band was established by Director Mr.Sompong Techaratanaworakul. The government supported the budget in 2015, including 18 items, 45 pieces, totaling 1,500,000 bahts.

Prachamongkol Band won the first prize in marching band contest of the “River Kwai Bridge Week” Kanchanaburi Band Competition 2017.
In 2018, Prachamongkol Band won the best drum major award of street parade division of DPE Marching Band Thailand Competition 2018.
In 2018, Prachamongkol Band won the best wind instrument award of street parade division DPE Marching Band Thailand Competition 2018.
In 2018, Prachamongkol Band won the 4th award of street parade division DPE Marching Band Thailand Competition 2018.
In 2019, Prachamongkol Band got Class D in Semi Final Round Thailand International Wind Symphony Competition 2019.
In 2020, Prachamongkol Band Won Championship in street parade division 2 Thailand World Music Championships 2020
In 2021, Prachamongkol Band Won the second prize in Individual Winds Open Class CGN 2021
