Saint Gabriel’s College

Saint Gabriel's College Band was founded by Brother Dr. Prateep (Martin) Komolmas during his tenure as the Rector of Saint Gabriel's College (1968–1973). The band has received continued support and encouragement from the Brothers who have served at Saint Gabriel's College.

In 1997, during the tenure of Brother Dr. Wisit Sriwichairat, the band underwent significant changes. The band received new musical instruments throughout the entire band, and the band's management and management were developed and reformed, including rehearsals, performances, and activity formats.

   The purpose of marching band activities is to enhance students' intellectual, emotional, and cognitive development. It aims to unleash their potential through musical performances, foster self-discipline for social responsibility, and foster teamwork. This development fosters positive personality and confidence, fostering the courage to express oneself appropriately. Furthermore, the band fosters a positive learning environment within the school, using music as a medium. The marching band has consistently performed both inside and outside the school, based on the belief that quality music improves the quality of life.

From that day forward, the Saint Gabriel's College Band, under the Music and Performance Division, Academic Division, has consistently received excellent support and encouragement from the Brothers, administrators, teachers, and parents.
