Dream Plus Golden Sail
Established in 1995, the Wind Band of Beijing Haidian District Second Experimental Primary School currently boasts a membership of over 400 students. For thirty years, guided by the school’s philosophy of "Laying the Foundation for a Happy Life for Creators," the band has actively upheld the "Jinfan" (Golden Sail) spirit. Through this dedication, the ensemble has cultivated a unique artistic culture and achieved remarkable success, establishing itself as a top-tier group within China.
The band has played a prominent role in major national events, including the "One Heart, Chasing Dreams" parade formation celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China, as well as the "Growing Together with the Motherland" performance. In the competitive arena, the band has consistently demonstrated excellence. They were awarded the Gold Prize and the honorary title of "Demonstration Band" in the Primary School Division at both the 9th (2015) and 12th (2018) "China Cup" National Non-Professional Outstanding Marching Band Showcases in Shanghai.
Furthermore, the ensemble secured the Gold Award at the 2016 Asia-Pacific Band Conference Marching Band Competition and the 2018 3rd Jinbao Marching Arts Competition. Locally, they have established a legacy of success by winning the Gold Award at the Beijing Student Art Festival Marching Band Showcase for eight consecutive sessions (from the 13th through the 28th). In recognition of these achievements, the band was officially designated as a "Beijing Student Art Troupe – Jinfan Art Troupe" in March 2018. Most recently, they continued their tradition of excellence by winning the Gold Award at the 17th China Outstanding Wind Band Showcase in 2024.
