Seri Pekan
It is a band of Secondary School of Seri Pekan. This band was first setted up in year 2022. It is a brainwork of the school Principal, Madam Zahamana binti Zainuddin. The band made use of all the musical instruments donated by the the sixth Prime Minister of Malaysa, Datuk Seri Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak. To date, this band consists of 80 students ranging from Year 4 to Form 5. When the band first started, they only received the invitation for performances in the small school events such as Sports day and Appreciation day but since we have reached the post pandemic era, they spread their wings by joining various competitions locally and internationally and have succeeded in few namely:
• 1st runner up - National Marching Band Competition in Kedah, Malaysia. 2022 • Silver Award – Malaysia International Virtual Band Championship 2022 • Consolation – Perbarisan Hari Kebangsaan 2022 Peringkat Negeri Pahang • Runner up - Malaysia World Band Competition-Natcomp 2022 (Color Guard Category) • 1st Runner Up - Malaysia World Band Competition-Natcomp (Street Parade Divisyen 1) • 1st Runner Up - Malaysia World Band Competition-Natcomp 2022 (Field Show Divisyen 1) • 1st runner up - Malaysia World Band Competition-Natcomp 2022 (Field Show Overall) The band aimed to participate in more competitions and fly higher and set to be among the bast marching band in the country. Excellence now and forever.
