The marching band at Thongthanee School was established in 2020 by the institution's director, Mr. Subin Sangsrakoo, and a music instructor, Mr. Anucha Saising.This resulted from the students' enthusiasm for musical activities and the promotion of comprehensive learning management by policy. As a result, the school provided a specific amount of funding to be utilized for both the repair of broken old musical instruments and the acquisition of new marching band instruments. This is formatted by 24 devices in a tiny band. The management backed marching band attire in the ensuing years. A initiative is also underway to support artistic brilliance.

Activities that the marching band professors and students engage in during each semester's break while at camp, has kept up their musical pursuits with the intention of daily, regular practice. Additionally, obtained advice on how to teach music from a number of speakers, and began playing songs that were used in school activities, and later had the chance to take the band to take part in other neighborhood events.

Then, during the first semester of the academic year 2022, students took part in the Chamber Wind Division 1 (seat-drying machine category) marching band competition and workshop of The 3rd North Eastern Wind music festival. There isn't a percussion ensemble in high school that is under 18 years old.
