From performing high-volume rhythm and, to playing flawless, show-stopping classics, from popular dance moves to precision drill steps, the Kanchananukroh Marching Band is without question a spectacular force. Redefining school band style, the KN band's success can be measured by the excitement of its vast and diverse audiences. Look around during any band performance and you will realize that the crowd is captivated by the powerful sound and talent of the co-ed musicians. Performances find fans of all ages rocking to the beat of the drumline, and mesmerized by the creative dance moves of the fast-stepping band members and dance team.

The Kanchananukroh Band was first founded by Mr. Lamyhai Siriwetchapan, the school director and conducted by Mr. Phayong Wisetsing, Mr. Kamonchai Maneekul, and Mr. Phaisarn Huaykaew in 1976. A sum of 10,000 baht was granted by the Ministry of Education of Thailand to procure the first set of the musical instruments.


To enhance the students' musical performance, the band was transformed to Kanchananukroh Marching Band and conducted by Mr. Tadatorn Prasert and Mr. Boonnam Sapboonme in 2002. A budget of 950,000 baht was approved by Mr. Jakrit Yamsluan, the school director at that time, to provide more brass instruments.

Kanchananukroh Marching Band has constantly evolved through the years. In 2012, supported by Dr. Narin Chamnandoo, the School Director, together with the band conductors Mr. Narudon Pothong and Mr. Phichit Kamlak, Kanchananukroh Marching Band has obviously transformed and progressed.

In 2022, Kanchananukroh Marching Band was given a breath of new life with 2 more conductors – Mr. Pannawat Sukrasuyanon and Mr. Methat Permchim and 80 band members. Under the supervision of Miss Jitmanat Neamnet, the Head of Arts Department and together with a budget of 3.5 million baht, approved by the School Director, Dr. Narin Chamnandoo, the main aims were to prepare Kanchananukroh Marching Band for the Thailand World Music Championships 2022 in both Virtual band Competition (VBS) Modern Marching Band Division 1 and the Marching Street Parade (MSP) Division 1.
