Color Guard Alliance of the Philippines
Color Guard Alliance of the Philippines Inc., also known as CGAP, is a non-profit organization founded on July 28, 2015 by Patricia Real Barairo as the Executive Director. With its Pilot Squad members, CGAP is the first Philippine Team participated in the Winter Guard International - Asia Championships and has been a regular finalist ever since. At present, CGAP have reached more than a hundred school based marching bands within Metro Manila, and groups all over the Philippines.
From the year of its foundation, CGAP manage to conduct various color guard programs that include workshops and seminars for visual design, color guard techniques and leadership development. Also providing opportunities for members to get involved in other cultural and social activities.
Color Guard Alliance of the Philippines Inc. is presently affiliated with Asian Marching Band Confederation (AMBC), Winter Guard International (WGI), Color Guard Netherlands (CGN) and World Marching Band Organization (WMBO). Now in partnership with the “Marching Band Capital of the Philippines”, The City Government of Bacoor, host of the first international marching band competition in the Philippines!
