Pathumwilai
Pathumwilai School Band was established in 1951. At that time, Mr.Bulwich Suwanprapai, was the principal, and Teacher Thanom Phothisuwan was the first music teacher of the school, who taught music. At the beginning, the music band was only brass band, having a few pieces of musical instruments. Later, in 1988. Mr.Sutee Ruangsuwan moved to Pathumwilai School and developed the music band more flourishing since then
In 2003, Mr.Kitja Chuprasert, the school director and developed the school’s orchestra to international standard. He encouraged the school band take part in the national competitions – both marching and concert band.
Currently, the marching band has been developing music skills to students in music band successively by Mr.Somsak Sumon, school director, who has steered and supported the music band to participate various competitions and sponsored in many ways to move the school band forward as well as always.
